Parking lights as DRLs in 2015 Silverado

Hi everyone,

I have a 15 Silverado and just installed HIDs in my low beams.  I was wondering if it's possible to change the DRLs to the parking lights/turn signals.  I saw on the gen5diy that their relocation harness changes DRLs to fogs, but I thought it would be neat to install switchback LEDs in the parking lights/turn signals and use those as the DRL.  Has anyone done this or does anyone know if it's possible?  Thanks!

I would first check your state's vehicle codes.  In CA, it is illegal to drive with your parking lights on.  I know that your intention is to only use the front parking lights (ambers), but NTSB or someone may have done research on that and determined that white lights are the best DRLs.

I would check with these guys and see if they can reprogram the DRLs to the running lights not sure how similar that would be to the Tahoe retrofit?
