Tailgate Removal

Has anyone removed their tailgate?  I want to install a tailgate gasket to seal (as much as possible) the space between my tailgate and bed on my 2018 Silverado 1500 with e-z lift and rear cam.  I would like to remove the tailgate to give me some space to install the seal.  I need the correct procedure to remove and reinstall the tailgate-thanks.

Sorry. I didn’t see that was for a Colorado. If you search YouTube, you’ll find a video for it. It should be the same as the 14-17 MY.

Same procedure.  Just don't forget to unplug the backup camera LOL.
