17x9 Wheels = Tires?

I bought some new wheels for my truck.  They are the Fuel D612's (17").  I currently have the stock wheels and tires on the truck.  Tire size is 255/70/17.  What tire size should I be putting on?  Ive googled this but nobody gives a good answer.

Do you have a leveling kit on your truck? Do you want to stuff as much rubber in the wheel well as possible or do you just want a slightly beefier look? If you're stock if just go with a 265/70/17 which is 31.6" tall and a little wider than your 255's. You could go to 275/70 or maybe a 285 but that would be pushing it stock.  What type of tires do you want? Mud, all terrains, street? That makes a difference too.

Probably will get all-terrains.  Id like the beefier look.  Eventually I'll get the leveling kit (if I ever find time).  I did see where a lot of people used the 265/70/17 but I need to know for sure.  Just spent close to $900, dont need to buy something that wont fit.  Thanks for the input =) Greatly appreciated.
