I know there are many out there that are not a Rough Country fan. Personally I had a RC lift on my Jeep JK for a couple years with zero problems. I know they are not what you would use for hardcore desert racing or rock crawling. I do neither with this truck. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 Z71 with a 6" pro comp lift, 35's, and 20 inch wheels. I was thinking about upgrading the struts to longer ones to remove the block or run coilovers. In the back I currently have the ES9000 shocks that I'm not too sure are better than stock. In my research I've come across the Rough Country Vertex coilovers and adjustable shocks. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with these or know anything about them? At a price to complete the front and back of $1800 with adjustability it's very appetizing. This might be overkill for my truck driving as I'm mostly city with some fire roads and beach driving. Would longer struts be the best way to go? I'd remove the block which I'm not a huge fan of. But do longer struts offer any additional features. Better road handling, better offroading handling?

They are made for 5-7" of lift.

These are not listed for stock to 0-2" lift options.

This is what I read on their website:

What are you seeing?

His truck has a 6" lift, he doesn't have a stock truck.

They look pretty trick and have adjustability for a pretty good price.

I have seen the review vids of them on jeeps. Seems to be positive.

Anyone try these on there GM yet ? I am thinking of getting a pair to run with my 6" Fabtech. Curious how much better it improves the ride and if you can gain some more lift with them. At $999 and adjustable, would love to see a comparison to the Fox adjustable coilovers.

Why would any one spend $1,800 on c/o and shocks from RC? If i was looking to spend that kind of money i would go with a brand that's a lot more reputable than that, another note if I'm spending that kind of money i would get something that could be rebuilt when the time is needed. I didn't see any where on the RC website stating these c/o and shocks could be rebuilt.

True dat.
That’s close to what I paid for 2.5” rezzie King shocks and coilovers.

The 1800. Gets you front and rear and they do have a warranty for 3 years Can’t match that price for performance mall crawler shocks anywhere! And they actually work! Light offroad

 washboard

speed bumps

 jumping culverts...
