These truck forums arent like they used to be.  I dont even want to go online anymore.  I have this i dont care anymore attitude.  Why is that?

I was all hyped to do my oil change this weekend and i dont even feel like doing that.  I am waiting till next wk (im not at 3K yet either so thats why i am putting it off mainly).

Is it cause of this bombing?  Just burnt out?

Anyone else feeling this way?

I feel like crap

I know how you feel buddy, Maybe it's cause you can't watch tv or look at a paper without a grim reminder of what happened to all those innocent people.

My problem like I said on here before is I live a mile or less from the Pa. crash site so everywhere I go I see police,FBI, and so on and now my wife is working at the temporary morgue due to her being a hospital worker so I believe until they pack up and complete the investigation there will be no getting over it until then. I think its been on tv nonstop since its happened.

Hopefully in time our lives will start making sense again.

Ryan,  it's been hard for me too... Just going to work has been tough!!!  But I've kept at it and it's starting to get better after 3 days of restless sleep...

I have a 9 year old and an almost 6 year old and a 3 year old.  They are all so inoscent...  yet the older two are asking questions every day...  it's been hard for me, but I'm back posting after a day or so of laying back, and I feel better with the "brotherhood of GM-Trucks.com" as square as we may be!!!   LOL

The "boards" were slow for a few days and we all know why...  A terrible tragedy occured...  We are all suffering and we have become more united as a country than I can remember in my lifetime...

Take a big breath Ryan, take two if you need too...

Even though we don't really know your face or voice or couldn't pick you out of a crowd...  we are all friends that like to BS about something we all have in common.. GM Trucks!!!   LOL

You're a valued member and take your time.........  Let us/me know if we can help.

Shane

I was that way until just this evening, now I'm starting to post again.  The thought of what happened will never leave me, but I also know that we have to start getting back to a more normal life sometime.

I feel the same way dont feel like doing a **** thing.Me being from new york makes it a little harder. I watched the news for 2 days and now it is harder to watch i still sometimes cant believe what happened. Everytime i see that picture of the planes hitting the towers it makes me sick and i cant believe that somebody could actually do something like that and kill all them innocent people like they did. IT just makes me sick.

You need to get your mind focused on something else for a while. I was mad at first, then Thursday I started getting depressed. Friday morning I began the restoration of an iron bed that belonged to my Grandmother when she was little. It is probably 100 years old, but since my Grandmother has passed on, the history of it is pretty fuzzy. Anyhow it is coming out real nice and my daughter will have a bed that belonged to her Great-Grandmother.

It kind of resets the family and togetherness mentality.

Anyhow, I feel a little better now.

I found some stuff to help

Have had fence panels sitting in my garage so this morning i went and dug some posts.  Now time to mix concrete set the posts and tomorrow put up the panels.

Also painted me and my dads cabinet where we store our automotive oil, filters, grease.  It was all rusty.  I am feeling better.  Also i am watching less tv.

I know exactly how you feel Ryan, and everyone else.  I've found if you can watch as little of the news as possible it helps.  Today I only watched about 20 minutes of news, and it really helped.  Also worked on re-doing a shed my Dad and I are ripping apart.  Kinda gets the mind working on other things.

I have felt really bad the last week. From Angry to Sad. I think it is normal. It is real easy for something like this to consume you.
