I'm new to the board.

Do many people here have older Suburbans/K5 Blazers? Post carb, but before the "roundness" started. 89-91 are the good square years, I think. I see a lot of questions on the newer trucks, but much less on the older.

I owned a '93 Suburban and the "roundness" started in '92. My brother had an '88 K5 that my father eventually took over. Aside from the troublesome rear power window, it served my dad well as a work truck until he sold it a couple years ago. I still think the pre-'92 Suburbans look better than any body style since then.

The department I did some volunteer work for had an 87 full-size Jimmy that I wouldn't have minded getting my hands on. Nice ride and a lot of versatility.

I've got an '86 with the Notorious 305...what a POS....i love the truck(it was my first one) hate the engine. But it gets me where I want to go, and it still works with 36 inch swampers

I like the 1992-1999 body style. Would like to do some mods. Any easy cost effective mods to increase HP and Gas Mileage?
