Nav system waypints, how to create?

I cannot seem to figure out how to load my own waypoints into the NAV system on my 2016 High Country.

Followed the procedure in the manual creating a USB stick with the folder they cite X:/myPOIs/myname.CSV on P 64 of the Nav Manual but cannot figure out how to get the Nav system to read it.

Any suggestions?  Cant seem to figure out how to enter them manually either.

Thanks,

Bob

I didn’t know there was a way to do this in the truck.

I have a Sierra, so the app is different but if you down load the app on your phone (where you can remote start, lock and unlock and sound alarm) you can set destinations as waypoints and send to the truck. I did that for a while.

It works the same way on the Chevy app (all the GM apps are the same background code with just the UI changed by brand).
