Brake discs and pads recommendations

Hi guys,

 

Looking for any recommendations for an aftermarket front and rear brake discs/pads. To be installed on a 2015 Yukon SLT 4WD

 

Too many options online thought someone might have some insights or experience with aftermarket ones.

I've heard EBC are good, no experience with them.

 

My brother's Camaro has Centric parts, they seem to work well. 

 

Just asking, why aftermarket as opposed to factory?

Powerstop has quality stuff. I have used in other cars with nice results no issues. How many miles do you have?? These rotors and pads last a loooong time usually??? Depending on cost I will be considering staying with the stock setup. Very thick pads and treated rotors.

Wagner OEX, been running them for 2 years and took them off last weekend. Still in good shape and offer low dust.

from my experience i would rate:

1) Ankebono

2) Centric

3) Wagner

 

But I want to try PowerStop and EBC. I had a used pair of EBC when I upgraded my Trans Am calipers but didnt use them long but recall impressed with them as they were used with unknown miles but decent thickness.

I went ahead and bought PowerStop rotors and pads kit. Hopefully I will install it this weekend

let us know. I have thinking of testing this kit combo on my wifes 16 impala (needs brakes soon) but my 18 Suburban only has 4500 miles so.....

Took me a while but installed the power stop and it's working very well. Can't feel the difference from the OEM brakes.

 

Only replaced the front at the end
