How to wire a second Engine Brake switch

I'm not sure GM's engineers were thinking straight when they determined the best place to place the engine brake switch on the 2017+ Duramax-equipped trucks was at the center dash among the  sea of other toggle switches.  Nothing like the feeling of "should I take my eyes off the road for a second to find the switch" when you realize the heavy load is pushing your rig way too fast down a steep grade!  Would have been better to mount it on the left dash right by the trailer brake actuator.  Duh!!

So I want to see if anyone out there knows enough about the wiring in these rigs to help me figure out how to wire a second switch to activate the brake--which second switch will be located by the trailer brakes!  From what I understand, the system is activated by the toggle switch completing a ground--so I assume a second on-off switch that would establish a ground wouldn't harm anything.  Thoughts?
