2018 Rim Offset Different?

Sorry if this topic has been beat to death but just want to make sure I get this right.

I may be buying a 2018 sierra reg cab long box work truck with 4x4.  I want to get some used snow tires on rims.  All bolt patterns from 2014-2018 seem to be the same but the offset for 2018's is different?  I just want plain factory size steel rims and tires which i think are  255/70/17.  Is offset going to be a problem?  Does 4x4 change anything?

Also im in canada and i cant seem to build and price a 2019 silverado reg cab long box.  When can i do this?

20x9 are +27.  The 17 and 18" wheels are a +24 offset

So the basic 17 inch steel wheels are the same from 2014-2018?
