Onstar/XM Antenna Swap questions

I have a 2014 Sierra Denali, and it currently has the OEM Black Onstar/XM Antenna.  Is the 15+ Painted Antenna Compatable with my 2014?

 it lists 15+ but im assuming that's because its painted.

whatever you do dont paint yours. So many issues there. I say it will fit but I would check the image of your antenna plugs first see if they are the same.

Yup I know not to paint it.  I was hoping  that someone knows what the plugs look like.  I really only want to pull down the headliner down one time.

What's the issue with painting the OEM black one? I've  heard of quite a few that have had there's painted without issue.

many if not all I read about where leaking also there was a post on EVER disassemble them that the bottom plate is sealed and will cause issues if you attempt to reseal it.

I'm still planning on having my roof painted gloss black. Looks great. I will just buy the matching GM painted antenna at that time.

I pulled my leaky antenna off this weekend. Took it apart, dried it out, silicone the sh!t out of it, and put it back on. No issues so far, reception is fine. The dealership replaced it and supposedly fixed the leak 2 months ago.
