New Silverado shakes, vibrations, rust, rough idle, not happy

The truck seems to be running a little smoother under acceleration.  Prob old gas from sitting on the lot for 6 months. Also prob some flat spots in the tires from sitting.  Still shifts like crap compared to other trucks I've owned.

Damn son, if the truck treats you that bad, why'd you buy it? Did you actually test drive it? If I felt flat-spotted tires, I'd demand new ones before I signed on the dotted line. A properly functioning 6L80E shifts pretty damn smooth. My old 93 C1500 with 1st gen 4L60E has hard shifts, but we beat the piss out of it from day 1.

I've ridden in and driven a lot of different trucks. Just makes me grateful for my Silverado. This has been true of my experience with all of the full size GM trucks I've had. And a lot of family, both extended and nuclear have had the same experience.

I didn't test drive it. I drove another one, a double cab and I seen this crewcab that I liked better.  It's a new truck so I figured if something was wrong I'd take it back in to service. I bought it at 9pm on the 31st. Stickered at $44,970 plus they had an extra sticker for $1095 for the leveling kit, pin stripe and something else. Bought it for $29,970 plus tax, tags and fees was like $34000 out the door. It was a damn good deal.  I had a 2015 2500 Silverado,  a 2011 1500 z71, and a 2008 1500 all rode and shifted like Cadillacs. This truck is quiet, powerful and rides nice other than a slight vibration,  and rough over bumps I believe has to do with the 2.5" leveling kit they installed.  Wouldn't suprise me if they didn't realign it so it has to be brought back in and GM picks up the bill.
