Change HVAC from auto to manual control

Is this hard to do? I don't like auto control. If anyone has done this how difficult is it. I have manual controls for my 2014 Silverado LT but it does not plug in to my auto wiring harness. Would the computer have to be reflashed? Thanks for any info.

If you don't like auto, then don't set it to auto.

The buttons are hard to use when driving. They are small. 1/4 of a circle. Manual dial easy to reach and set. I like simple.

I don't know about yours but at least for my truck if I click auto it will light up and maintain that temp, if I click it again it will turn off and just keep pumping out air at whatever temp it's set to. If your truck isn't working like that I'd suggest that you have it looked at.
