Cat Bak???

Went to a reputable  exhaust company near my house. I mentioned I’m looking for a system that is not obnoxiously loud inside the truck only because I tow a 37’ camper an don’t want to be hearing that on a 3 hour road trip. (Guess I’m getting old ?) He mentioned a cat bak system called Xlerator.  Anyone ever here of it or has one?

I have always had good results with magnaflow. I am putting my magnaflow 15267 on tomorrow. I'll post a before and after video if you would like. It cost me 725 on Amazon. I know it's not what you asked but just giving some relevant info that may help.

Its not much of a video.  I never got around to making a good one. 

 

I had the 14790 Sport kit (regular cab long box) on it.  The factory exhausts were the same from GM 2011-2015.  Corsa said it might not fit, and I got the kit as a "test" without warranty for a lot less than MSRP.  I had no issues with fitment. 

 

Best exhaust I ever ran, and I would have paid MSRP for it too.  ZERO drone.  Cruising highway on the inside, it sounded a tad quieter than stock even.  Sounded awesome under load and WOT.  Very Corvette like from the outside at times.  Cold starts sound sweet too. 

 

I'd do it again.   

 

There are two other companies that support a full catback system for gas HD that I've seen that have systems designed to fit all years.  MBRP and Magnaflow.  If you want options for dual exit, Magnaflow has that.  I can't speak for MBRP, but the Magnaflow I had on my 2012 1/2 ton droned in V4 and V8.
