Remote start to add

Looking to add it - my dealer says the part I need is

84424015 

part is 175 

installed 268

 

looks like it’s just the fob so 100.00 for just programming  that’s crazy to me 

I have a 2018 Sierra elevation

Don't be suprised. I once lost my key fob and they charged me $400 plus tax, these small things are ridiculous.

The kit should be two remote start fobs and a replacement hood latch. The latch has a sensor that lets the computer know the hood is closed. Remote starting will not work if the hood is open.
