Hands free text messaging with MyLink

I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to text message with MyLink on my truck. I have not been able to find a way yet.
I would like to be able to hands free text message. I can do it on my phone but it would be nice and easier if I could somehow link my phone to MyLink and be able to do this.
I have an android phone and would like to be able to 
Is there a way to do this?

Not sure about the 19s but my 16 I can only do it with Android auto. If you long press the voice activation button it will launch AA, then you can say "ok Google, text my wife And tell her I am running late".
