Service Park Assist and other oddities

Today while driving I kept getting the message to Service Park Assist. I also noticed that sometimes it will sound alerts when close to an object, other times not. Sometimes it will display the closeness on the instrument hud, sometimes not. Turn signals make sound so I am not sure what gives. Goes in to dealer Wednesday, only 2500 miles to go until I am out of the 36,000 mile warranty. Ideas?

You're inside the warranty. Make them fix it.

I will see what happens. They are always quick to pull the "you've altered the vehicle" bit, even though adding an amp and sub have nothing to do with a parking sensor issue. I have had this setup installed since September so I know it is unrelated. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they do things right.

They have to prove that your alteration caused the failure to back out of the warranty. They'll probably just fix it to avoid the hassle.
