Next to the PRNDM on my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado high country dually there is the number "1". I can't find anything about it in the owners manual or online. Can anyone please tell me what it is? Thanks

Jam it into " 1 " going down hill with a load, the truck will start to do things to get to first gear. Don't need brakes to start slowing down.
