Hello,  my 2003 silverado 1500 just hit 60,000 miles.  I obviously never really drive it,  what kind of maintenance do you guys suggest? It will be in the shop for a new hub so figured I would see what else should be done.  Thanks

So it's never had a major service? Motor, trans, diff? ..is it 2WD or 4WD?

Power flush brakes. Coolant service. Hoses and belt by inspection. Trans, Diff(s). Filters. The hole nine yards.

Coolant and brake fluid for sure.

If the transmission fluid is clean, I wouldn't even touch it. Or at the most, I'd just drop the pan, swap the filter and fill it back up. Never "flush" a transmission, only exchange the fluid.

Check the AC belt and serp belt.

Transmission flush with new filter,  have the axle fluids changed and the transfer case service done... That is what I did on my 2016 when it hit 50k miles... It's at 65k now! When a truck is driven a little as yours I would have a through inspection done, I have a buddy who was borrowing his Dad's rarely driven 2002 2500 HD which has no rust on the body, almost never driven in the winter and while he was driving in down in WV with a trailer in tow the brake lines popped due to rust... That truck had maybe 50k miles on it at the time IIRC.. Unfortunately trucks and cars rot based on age not just mileage...

Yeah I had the brake lines go 2 years ago and replaced them all.  What should I expect the services mentioned above top run me?

Write up your shopping list and take it to your mechanic and ask him for an estimate Tom Sawyer.

I took mine to the local chevy dealer and I think I paid $650 if memory serves me right... This was about 6 months ago...
