Hey guys. Just made an account! So my dad just bought a 2019 Sierra AT4 and installed a 6” RC lift with 35” ridge grapplers on a 22X10 wheel with 1/4” backspaces. He has the gmc brembo upgrade kit. He seems to be rubbing on the outer front fenders while turning with minimal flexing. I don’t have the specs for the offset nor the backspacing  yet. I will be getting that info tomorrow. Any ideas on what he needs to do to minimize or eliminate the rubbing? He put me in charge of figuring this stuff out haha. Thanks!

first off since that's an AT4 according to RCX their 6" kit will not fit it, only their 4" kit. I'd check to confirm it actually has the 4" kit being as according to RCX the 6" kit will not AT4's. I'm assuming the tires are rubbing due to the width and backspace/offset of the wheels and the GMC's HORRIBLE fender design. Your most viable option is to trim the inside of the fenders a little

Those rims should not need a spacer so if you removed the space and you would move the tire a little more in the Fender and it should clear no problem.

The 4" inch kit for the AT4/Trailboss turns the lift into 6".  Its on top of the 2 inch lift from the factory

i understand that, but he stated he has a " 6" RCX lift" which would indicate it's running at 8" since 6+2=8 , where as he's running a 4" RCX 4+2=6. If he was at 8" ride height and rubbed it would be a lot more disconcerting than being at 6" and rubbing...........

Thanks for the responses. So I made a mistake, it’s actually a 4” lift kit but a 6” total as y’all stated. The wheels are a -24 offset and 4.5” backspacing. The front wheels would not clear the calipers of the Brembo brakes so we had to add the 1/4” backspacers.

those spacers are most likely the reason it rubs

I have nothing to say to help but just damn! That is a nice rig mate. Love the stance

So basically I need to tell the dealer to put different wheels with less offset, that way it tucks in the tire a little more.

Or get wheels that don’t rub the calibers (the best option)

The wheels I’m looking at are fuel D616 with -18 offset. Is that enough offset?

Or the same size wheel that clears the brakes

Backspace 4.75 should fit no problem
