2019 GMC SIERRA DENALI HD

We purchased a 2019 GMC Sierra Denali HD in March of 2019 we have in 2 weeks had to put 6 gallons of DEF Fluid with No Leaks reported.  Has anyone else had this issue

Your dealer didnt fill the DEF tank. It holds about 4.7 gallons. This is a common issue. Fill it then track how much you use to fill again. You should be able to get about 3000 miles from a tank. More if you are highway driving- less if you are all city driving.

Dealer must not have filled it upon delivery.  2017 and newer hold 7 gallons.  I'd bring them receipts and maybe try to get reimbursed or some free DEF.

I agree dealer likely didn't fill, but his L5P (2017-2019)  holds 7 gallons.

 

My last fill was at 7000 miles -- 1100 miles per def gallon
