Lowering Kit for Tahoe and Suburban

Recommended Posts

Saw this beast on the 5 south freeway this morning. Chatted with the owner for a little since we are in a stop and go traffic and he said that it was lowered 1/2 inch all around. Just wondering if anyone know a lowering kit for a 2019 suburban and how the ride if you have one installed. Thanks IMG_2308.jpg

I have a 19' Callaway standard lengh Tahoe lowered, Callaway did it when it was there, it rides great, and handling is way improved

Well I finally got around to installing the kit...well just got around to the rear. Really considering the newer adjustable front shocks from Norcal and not install the front spindles. Here is a before and after pic. I used the 1" spacer, stock upper rubber mount and I got less than 2". Not I did use the newer sensor rods at the instructed 3" spacing but I also made marks of the stock sensor positions and after install the marks are a fraction of, maybe 1/8" so the air shocks could be holding a little more than before install

Before 37 5/8"

After 36"

Have 2020 RST 4wd,  wanting 2/4 drop. Is spindle drop better than just Springs? What’s code to ensure I have magna ride?  Thanks all!

pretty sure RPO is z95

if you want to keep mag ride..spindle will do that.

it allows to keep same ride quality, just lower.

& more than likely it will lower 1.75"  as that is what it did for my vehicle
