1990 sl crank, no start

help, 90 gmc 4x4 2500 auto, cranks no start, changed the coil and ignition mod off running truck, new distributor cap and router, (no spark) disconnected the battery so there is no code, going to take cap off again and make sure router turns, could it be the electronic spark control ? is there a way to bypass (it's the square box beside the passenger valve cover) fuses are good, can hear fuel pump and poured fuel in T B. sure it's a no spark, tried the screwdriver in spark plug wire. as i mentioned the code flashes 12's. i'm thinking distributor, spark control thing, or plugs that plug into the coil. thanks for any help.

It's probably the pickup coil on your distributor. Just went through the same thing on my 95 Silverado. Changed everything you did, and nothing worked, until I changed my distributor, which included a new pickup coil.
