5.0 tbi injector connector

so im replacing the 2 injector connectors. and curiosity has the best of me. the 2 wires provide singal and ground right all the injector basically does is alow voltage to pass through and open and close. would it matter how I hook up the 2 wires as long as the proper 2 go to the same injector? like I know on a headlight bulb ya can hook up the wires backwards and nothing bad happens cause the buld is like a pass through device, same thing with injector?

I don’t KNOW the answer, but are you just asking out of curiosity, or have you somehow mixed them up already? They appear to be color coded, so unless you are sure, I would try to keep them in the original position.
