I’m looking to change my rotors and front calipers on my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 crew can 5.3L. Does anyone have the torque specs for the calipers front and rear.

The caliper bolts are ridiculous to get off.  You will need an angle socket to get to them. Have a breaker bar handy too.  My impact gun is rated around 300ft lbs and could not get them off. Had to use my torque wrench AMD penetrating oil to get them out.

- Caliper to knuckle is 170ft lbs (18mm bolt)

- Caliper to bracket, slightly past hand tighten, no more than 75ft lbs (15mm bolt I think)

Remember to grease the caliper to bracket bolts too

Or my truck ('04 Sierra 3500), the full-service manual also specifies using red loctite (the high-strength stuff) on the caliper bracket to knuckle bolts)...

Thank you are the rear torque specs the same and what do you recommend using for greasing the caliper bolts to the bracket.

I use Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube for my truck.  Don't know if it's still appropriate for the latest trucks though.
