No response from pushbutton 4wd

My 2005 silverado is stuck in 4 low the 4low button is lit up but when I push any other button I get no respone no flashing nothing, i replaced the selector switch and checked both the trec and 4wd fuses as well as the grounds under the driver door. Service 4wd is on the dash but i cant drive to a shop to a shop to have the codes pulled any ideas?

Have you already tried putting the transmission in N (set the parking brake) and then trying to shift thru the transfer case selections?  I'd also try disconnecting the battery and resetting the truck and things for a bit.  Maybe get underneath and pull some plugs on the transfer case.  Wondering if it's got a bad actuator motor.  Hmmm.

Turn key off and when you turn on quick put in neutral while pushing the 2wd button. Most likely the transfer case shift motor. Same symptoms I’ve had and had to replace. I’d already replaced switch as bulb had burned out.

I had the same problem with my 04 silverado. I changed the switch with no resolve, then I changed the sensor in the encoder motor on the transfer case. The sensor was the issue.
