2017 Canyon Rear Bumper Replacement

Hi All,

The rear bumper has been hit not 1, not 2, but 3 times.  Interested in whether to replace at GMC or go for an aftermarket bumper.  Opinions/experiences/recommendations with this welcome.

Maybe you should quit backing into people     Seriously replacing the factory bumper will be expensive, the trailer hitch for one thing is part of the bumper and it’s mounting and strength.  A painted bumper will cost to match your vehicle so maybe the chrome one would be cheaper, just a guess but i’ll bet it has a price tag closing on a grand plus installation.  I cannot imagine driving with the bumper bent for too long, I would bite the bullet and have it replaced.

Stick with OEM GM bumpers. Aftermarket bumpers may not fit right. https://www.gmpartsprime.com/ has everything genuine GM at cheaper than dealer prices. Check them out. They're legit!
