Max Trailer Package = Sporty Ride

All I seem to read  on here are posts saying how horrible the T1 rides are; I thought I would add a different perspective for others thinking about getting a T1.  I have a 4X2  RST Max Trailer on 20s with 3.5K miles on it and it drives very sporty with a ton of power. This is my 1st truck and I am surprised at how well it handles and drives..... I truly love it.   Just curious if others who have the Max Trailer package feel the same way about their T1's ride quality.  Surly I cant be the only one who actually likes the way they ride.  Note> I have not towed anything yet :(

I have it, but in 4x4. I guess one could call it sporty. Definitely on the firm side of things, sometimes a bit bouncy (but still feels better dampened than the 19 Z71 I drove)...

I don’t mind it, although if not for the 3.42 axle I probably would have just got a standard non-NHT, non-Z71 truck as those seem to ride softer.

So you like how your truck rides with 20" wheels? I'm torn right now between an RST Max Tow with 5.3 / 8 speed and 18" wheels and a 2020 Elevation Max Tow with 5.3 / 10 speed and 20" wheels. I feel that 18" wheels will ride better but I'm a little scared of the 8 speed and I don't really need all the SLT features so it's not worth the added cost just to get the 10 speed with 18" wheels to me.

Elevation has the 8spd as well unless something changed????

For 2020, 10 speed is supposed to be available on 4x4 SLE and up.

Ah, I didn't realize we were talking a 20,

Sorry, I probably wasn't very clear earlier. Still wrapping my head around buying a  2019 or 2020 after my purchase of a new 2018 fell through on Monday.
