Tow mirrors

I'm looking to add tow mirrors to my 15 1500 ltz z71. I have d3 mirrors now. While looking at different tow mirrors I've noticed they say do not include ambient temperature sensor. Is that where the 1500 sensors are also located? Also if I'm not concerned about the cargo/ backup light, will they be plug and play for the power fold,heat,ect.

You don’t need to worry about ambient temp sensor. Gas trucks don’t use it. Only needed if you have Diesel.

It’ll plug and play for power adjust, fold, turn signals, heat. The running light will behave like your old puddle lamp (only coming on at night when you unlock)

Your temp sensor is inside the grill attached to a diagonal brace just to the passenger side of center.
