josephearljones Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 When listening to Pandora through Android auto approx every 20 minutes it will switch/pause to Amazon music. This is with no input or touching of the phone (it's on the charge pad), and no voice input. It hasn't always been this way, Android auto worked flawlessly for the first few months of ownership, and this issue has started in the past two week. I'm assuming there was some sort of update. Any other experiencing this and/or have a fix? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
Sin City Trail Boss Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 There was a major Android Auto update by Google recently. On my Samsung I still haven't gotten it, but maybe on your phone being a Google Pixel phone you already got that new version. Maybe with the update, something got tweaked. Being an Android user myself, I would suggest uninstalling AA, Pandora, and Amazon Music and then reinstalling.
UGADawgs Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 I have a Pixel 3XL with the August patches and am still on the legacy AA app. No changes here yet.

Interesting. I had heard many people already got the new version, so I automatically assumed all Google Phone users got it first for sure.
Delmat Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 I have this exact same issue but with Spotify. Every 20 minutes or so Spotify stops and goes to Amazon music. When I go back to Spotify it's paused. I hit play and the song starts where it stopped. This started about a week ago.

I'm going to delete Amazon music (I don't use it) and see how that changes the behavior.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
