2019 Trail Boss questions

Recommended Posts

Funny, I too came from a 4runner.

I loved my 2019 4runner but it had steering issues that were never fixed by Toyota. I finally had enough and traded it in for my TB.

My 4runner had all the bells and whistles and my Custom TB obviously doesn't. Surprisingly I thought it would bug me but it really doesn't.

Mine came with a storage tote under my rear seat, so know you could always get one for your truck. Has a ton of room.

Also I noticed that the more miles I put in, the smoother the transmission and the more power I feel.

I used to get a hesitation before on take off when it was brand new, now at 3K I barely feel it.

My only complaint is the common axle stub shaft clicking/jingling problem. Look for it on here, it's 30 pages long.

If you buy a trailboss, don't get one with the SU4 axle. Have the dealership pull up the build sheet and if you see SU4, avoid it.
