allgonoshow2 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Hi Folks, My 2015 6.2 8a All Terrain is giving some issues. At steady highway speeds and light throttle position, the trucks has a cycling shudder, feels to me like the torque convertor is locking/releasing. There is no dipstick in this model??? Is this a common fault. Any ideas, no sel and about 30k miles.
Charles P. Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 I just got my tranny flushed and filled today following the TSB and it removed this issue completely- https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10154635-9999.pdf ^This will help if the shop doesnt know about it.
allgonoshow2 Posted September 3, 2019 Author Posted September 3, 2019 Thanks for the reply. I should have stated in my original post that the truck had all the usual tranny issues when it was new. It was flushed once and then a new torque converter and has been fine since, taking abuse and towing a good sized trailer. What it is doing now is different but hopefully a flush will fix it.

I hope so! Some places (Even the dealerships) dont know the TSB exists- The Chevy dealer down the street from me stated they had to pull the TSB to give me a quote because they had not heard of it yet. Giving the Info up front helped out with this one!
allgonoshow2 Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 By the way, my symptoms are exactly what is described in the TSB. Thanks again.
allgonoshow2 Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 Is this covered under the power train warranty??? edit, still under powertrain warranty, booked service for next week.
allgonoshow2 Posted September 15, 2019 Author Posted September 15, 2019 The dealer did a triple flush and my truck runs fine, power train warranty covered the service. Thanx for the info
