Replica Wheels

Has anyone ever had issues with replica factory wheels? I have a set of 20" replicas from 2012 on my '04 that I got on ebay. No issues (chrome is a bit cheap, no peeling because i keep them CLEAN, but no structural issue).

I am looking to get a set of replica rally edition 22s for my '16 with tires mounted and balanced with sensors (approx $2800) and sell my old set for about $1800. I am figuring $2000 for just tires (285 55 22 G2s).. or about $1100 for brand new everything after i sell my old set. The wheel is OE Performance 189. I would think the quality is the same as any aftermarket wheel. The price range is the same. There are posts about this but they are old, I figure I would start a new one to see everyones experience as time has gone on.

Nothing wrong with reps at all.  The OE brand is right on par with OEM wheels.  I have multiple friends with OE Denali 22s and Y Bar 20s.  Never had a problem.  They're actually probably more popular than OEM, since OEM seems to be crazy prices new.  I'd also look around on Facebook Marketplace.  I see 22s on there (OEM) all the time for $1000 with tires.  Can take the tires off and put on your G2s, and save some cash.  $2000 sounds high for 285s, but I haven't bought Nittos in a long time.

Just check the weight rating on them if you tow or carry a payload. Sometimes aftermarket stuff has significantly lower weight capacities which will lower your GAWR. Most OEM wheels are made by the same Chinese companies as the knock offs, so it shouldn't be an issue but always check. I hope your in a nice city with good concrete streets, otherwise prepare to lose ride quality.

I am from Rhode Island which has the worst roads in the country lol. Thats why i want to go from a 22 to a 20. The LTs are stiffer but I plan to run just required 32 psi. I did it on my old truck and it worked out good.
