I'm looking at replacing the pedestrian wheels on my truck. I'm looking at Ion 171-8983p in 18*9 0mm offset with 5" backspace. I'm going to run stock size tires. Maybe jump up to 275/65 at some point. My question is (and I've got conflicting answers from 1/4" to 1 1/4" stick out past the fender) I'm hoping someone could provide some insight as to if these will sit flush, inbound or poke from the fender. Thanks in advance for any replies. Attached is the pic of the wheel I want to put on the truck

I think you'll get a little bit of protrusion out of the fenders. The 20" factory wheel that stays in bounds is 20x7. Going to 9" will stick out.

Edit: just realized the factory 18s are 8.5" wide, and mine definitely stay inside the wheel well. You might be ok. You could check yours with a tape measure and see.

Depending on where you live and local law enforcement's attitude about that, you may want some fender brush guards to cover it.

Sweet wheels by the way, man. Those look sharp.

Lol if I trusted my own math. Ricer math tells me 1/2" wider wheel and 1/4" back space should mean 3/4" out from factory. On a 275/65 I might get a c hair of poke, but I want to be sure so I don't look like a tool
