No volume control

Hey guys new to the forum and any forum in general.

Just picked up a 2019 trail boss custom. Put in my subwoofer and amp. Now I have no volume control? Doesn’t matter what mode I’m in Bluetooth, fm, xm, I cannot turn it up or down... I can mute however.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Can you provide a little more information?

1. What subwoofer and amp? Is this the kicker subwoofer kit accessory?

2. Do you have the Bose system?

3. What wires are you tapping into?

4. Do you get volume control back when disconnect the subwoofer tap?

Ok... got the volume control back when I disconnected the PAC line output converter out.
Now I need to figure out which wires to tap into for the converter to work correctly.

I am putting an amp and kicker 10 inch comp.

I don’t have the bose  system.

Thanks

Speaker wires are usually twisted. You can find the details of what to tap into by looking at the truck electricals on gmupfitter. Here is the link to the electricals pdf of the new body style sierra (http://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/1161/19_Silverado_1500_Body_Builder_2019FEB13.pdf)

It goes by radio code so you might need to know that too. Page 404 is a good start or just search for speaker in the pdf.

Just for reference, the Kicker subwoofer accessory kit taps into yellow & yellow/black pair which is the right front speaker wire for the Bose system. Blue and brown/blue for the non-Bose.
