Interior Head Liner lights

Any one know how to test the rear head liner panel light? Had the Head liner replaced by garage now the rear int light doesn't work. Not real happy with garage job, they broke the drivers side seat belt up/down pillar slider, rear over head light no work, and a rattle some where havn't found yet. replaced with a darker gray liner also, which i can live with, but don't want to let them do more damage. Front overhead light works fine. I Have 12v at 2 of the 4 pins on the connector. Pulled electronic pcb board and bulbs out of holder to attempt direct connect check but don't know correct pins to 12v+/12v- to get lights on, at one point they came on for split second but can not repeat. Did I burn it up by cross pinning incorrect pins on the panel?
