Can't make calls through bluetooth

Recommended Posts

For some reason I can't make phone calls anymore through my trucks bluetooth. It still connects and I can play audio though the truck but no calls. I have tried turning off/on the bluetooth on my phone, unpaired and paired on both phone and truck, and checked my phone's security permissions. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

What happens when you try to make a call? What kind of phone do you have?

Nothing happens. I can look up my contacts and select a person to call but when I push call nothing happens.

Samsung Note 8

Not sure if they are similar in features, but Apple lets you "forget this device", which sort of deletes it from your phone (MYlink).

Then you can repair it with a fresh start, and that usually works every time to sync it up with the truck again.

I tried to no avail, deleting both the phone from my truck and my truck from my phone

Well, at this point if the other functions on the stereo are working correctly, I would disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so, just to reboot the truck and see if that works.
