Denali cluster question

I recently got a Denali cluster reprogrammed and added to my base 2017 Sierra.   I want to be able to cycle thru my milege, tps readings etc on the cluster.  I added a right side directional pad on the steering wheel to my already upgraded steering wheel (So it had the wiring) but I am unable to cycle thru the menus.  

 

I checked with White auto and media. He told me that it has to be wired correctly for me to use the control. 

 

How do I go about doing that?

You need to add a wire from your clock spring to your cluster.

Do you have cruse control? If you do chances are you already have the Green wire from the clock spring down to the dash harness connector. You just need to add the same Green wire from the dash harness connector up to the the back of the cluster. I had to do this with mine.

You will be looking for a plug like this behind the steering wheel. remove the cover from the column.
