Absent for a bit

Well most of the stuff is packed up, and the pc is next. So, I'll likely be absent for a few days from the forum. Nice thing will be the dsl in another 7-10 days (God willing). It'll be like a whole new experience.

Well the move went well even with a light sprinkle mid-morning Saturday. I also got the lovely surprise that the truck I booked was a stick and none of the 3 of us that went to pick it up had driven one recently and didn't want to chance it. So we ended up with a 17' vs. a 26'. Oh well, the Rado came to the rescue again with a trip to haul left behind furniture. The new place is nice, though the fine folks at Alltel didn't bother showing up to install the phone as they had said they would. My neighbor(old house) sat at the new place from about 7:45- on waiting on them. I called and the phone should be in Tuesday(God willing). I'll probably run the dial-up for a bit, then the DSL is due the 19th, but I still haven't gotten the equipment yet. We'll see how it all turns out. Checking mail and such at the folks place on mom's x-mas HP...gotta love the p4. Talk to everyone soon.
