Wanting to get some help here and need a little direction. Please chime in. Didn't want to pay for a higher model but want some things done

- Add a full storage front console. Will a 2019 LTZ version work on a 2020 Custom Silverado 1500? It has the wireless charging. What else do I need to purchase to make this happen?

- Add Volume control on steering wheel blank? Is there a part I can purchase or does it need to be the entire wheel?

- Adding a USB Port to the "1" that Chevy gives

- Adding to the dashboard to the blank buttons

- Are we able to add the start/stop button?

- How about changing the dash, doors and entire interior from Vinyl to the leather finish in the high grade models

- Running Boards, Floor Mats, Speakers and Under seat storage, Spray in bedliner is easy

- So many things the Custom edition doesn't have that seems like you would be able to upgrade on your own. I can find the parts but I don't know what is really needed and the dealership has their lips sealed of course. Seems like dumping $5k into the truck can get you the same as the LTZ version truck for much less. Any help is greatly appreciated

I feel your pain. I wasn't trying to pay a ridiculous amount for a truck either but I bit the bullet and got an LT Trailboss with Convince Package 2 because it had all of the stuff I wanted and it appears most of what your looking for as well.

The only thing on that list I know you can do without issue is the center console. You can buy that and install it. None of the electronics will work as all of that has to come from the factory. Even if the wiring is there you will need software be to be flashed to get anything to work. Right now dealers have no clue on how to do that at all right now.

And I would not spend too much trying to get wireless charging.  Apple carplay allows you to get a lot more out of the factory head unit and the phone must be plugged in for that.  I pretty much always have my phone plugged in for that reason.

Console sure, wireless charging?  No.

Def. probably need the clock spring and the switch, possibly the wheel.  The real issue is, will the control work?  Is there more wiring missing?

USB splitter cable.

- Adding to the dashboard to the blank buttons

What buttons did you want to add?

No.  Lots of pieces to that whole system.

$$$

An RST with Convenience w/buckets and Allstar would have been what I'd have sprung for, and probably not too much more/month as GM always has good coin off on Allstar equipped trucks.  Would have taken care of the push button start, the center console, wheel controls, better dashboard, more USBs, etc.

Exactly what I went with. I think I actually ended up with a step up on that package and Im beyond glad I did. I really also enjoy the rear sliding window. I was shocked with how well that gets airflow going throughout the cab.

I went with an LT, Texas Edition, Conv. pack II.  It's a 2019, but the price diff. was minimal between a custom (without conv. pack II it's only $400 more actual price not MSRP for an LT over a custom at my dealer,).  Aftermarket I did a spray in bedliner, tint, tonneau, and AMP running boards.
