Cabin Air Filter

Was going to replace my cabin air filter on my 2013 GMC Sierra and found out there is no filter from factory and there is an option for a mod for the CAF door under the kick plate but where the door would go there is nothing there for a screw after doing the mod. Can anyone help me out with this?

Depends on the truck.  Lower trim stuff with the manual controls do not have provision in the box for the filter.

 

Mine had provision for it so I just cut the box out and got the door, screw and filter as a kit from GM.

I did, that was the first thing I checked and in order to do the modification there needs to be a part protruding from the air filter housing for a bolt but there isn't on my truck so I can't even do the modification

Any idea what to do without the provision present as my truck doesn't have it?

No provision means you can't do a filter.  Easy peasy.
