Hello everybody im new here and i've got a 2018 Silverado z71 crew cab and I've notice that the gas pedal feels heavy or not as responsive compaired to my 2015 Tahoe and I've seen a few post here and not sure if their describing what I'm talking about  is there a way to fix this

If the truck has no error codes or faults, that is the normal operation of the vehicle.

We are talking several years of calibration changes and likely different pedal assemblies between the two vehicles.

A custom tune will help but that will void your warranty. I think it's called a pedal commander or something like that that people install to help and that won't void a warranty because it just plugs in and out.

Welcome to the site.

It is normal, and what magnifies it even more is the fact that when you are coasting, the engine deliveries no fuel, so you get the "compression braking" effect too. So it feels like you need even more effort when you get back into the throttle.

You get used to it pretty quick, right foot just gets heavier.

OK I know what you mean and the reason my I'm asking this question now is  I was at a stop and thinking it was the Tahoe I caused the wheels to spin
