Silverado 1500 Starting issues

Background here - couple of weeks ago, oil pressure sensor failed when filter plugged done by mechanic as I am don't have a place or am that mechanical. No big deal......had it repaired. Since then every once in a while have had issues with electrical system (i think). Here's what has happened:

Started fine when picked up after repair of sensor, started fine later that day when going out. No power at all after being off for about an hour. (no interior lights, didn't crank, didn't respond to fob, nothing). Tried boosting it, still nothing. Took cables off and horn started honking (alarming). Fired up no problem. Went for a while with no issues even drove out of town and back with no issues.

Tuesday - same thing as above......went to start, no interior lights, no cranking, nothing. Talked to mechanic friend, said try disconnecting battery and the minute i started moving around the positive connection on battery, horn went again. Started fine....drove down to mechanics, no issues, but battery was old - thinking it wasn't keeping a charge. New battery put on that afternoon.

Today - first time I ran it since Thursday - no issues on Wednesday or Thursday when used, didn't drive it yesterday. Drove up to start and back. Command start and fob worked fine this morning. Started at store, drove home, went to start it with key, nothing again - no interior lights, no turn over/crank, nothing, played with positive connection on battery and fob work (no command start just clicking) in unlocking/locking doors, it turns over and runs.

So my question is, where should I narrow my search down too? Is it something to do with command start/fob, alternator, positive wire to battery? Or is this something else possibly? Have had no issues with any of this before the oil pressure failed.

To me, if starts after everytime you mess with the battery and cables, then something is going on there.

Could be a bad battery cable that is corroded on the inside or has a poor connection at the body ground. I'd inspect all cables and grounds, clean all connection points with the engine/body and starter.
