8 speed trans shift problems cold

Hi I have a 2019 crew cab z71 rst 5.3 8 speed when cold shift 1-2 has a huge delay during shift it’s like ,shift,delay,bang, then 2-3 is perfect and 3-4  will flare,  after that seems ok, it happens randomly when cold, once hot the 1-2 shift will Bang at light throttle,  truck was built in July of 2019 so it Should have the new fluid although it was built in Mexico?  Any body else have a poorly shifting  8 speed trans when cold , truck is only 3 months old and I can’t afford to trade it for another brand yet! Dealer says it’s normal.

I can confirm. Sounds pretty normal for the ever horrible 8 speed. Especially if you're still under 10,000 mi on it. If it's below freezing out, I've learned to just put in drive and sit for 30 seconds before moving. Seems to help a lot.
