Windshield tint with the hud?

must have been the type of tint I had. I believe it was pinnacle formula 1. Im sure tints changed a lot since then

Could it also be that it was an old HUD system?  You said it was way back when.  I'm wondering because my tint has some bubbles and I was thinking about replacing with ceramic.

could possibly be it too not 100% sure. It was on my 07 vette

Thanks for the responses everyone. Waiting for the place to get back with me about potentially trying a scrap piece to 100% verify but I think it’s a go. I’ll post up findings and pics once it’s complete.

I have 40% on mine and it has no effect on the HUD.
