Problem is both front brakes lock up after 15-20 minutes let off gas and will come to a stop -rotors r glowing orange and smoking. Let sit for an hour or so and work fine till 15 minutes of driving. also last year had a problem with abs so removed fuse .

 abs is not this problem.

 The calipers MUST slide in and out. By this time, the rotors are junk, and the caliper holders, as are the calipers, pads.

 Get a rebuilt set of calipers WITH the bracket, ensure the long shafts have some lube, also ensure the brake pads can move in the little metal clips.

 If the caliper cant move, and the pads cant move, they will freeze. Once Hot they expand, and brakes will engage to a degree.

 Might try the expensive, but worth it C-MAX pads from autozone. Full Ceramic.

AS the sacrificial part is the pads, there is NO need for Metallic or semi metallic pads to eat and heat your rotors.

 Many cheap brake places do not ensure all the parts that should move, DO move.

 I have seen brand new brake pads NOT move in the stainless clips because the tabs on the end are punched out and have a ridge.

 I put them on a grinder and clean it up and make sure it all works and a tiny bit of brake grease there doesnt hurt.

 The pads and the calipers both "Float" to a degree. '
