Does anyone know where the OnStar module is located on the 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 high country it’s also the newer body style

Sorry took so long to get back no never found it everybody thing it’s in the consul but I don’t have time I also have an LTZ high country and it’s just too much stuff to take apart

I have a GMC 2022 Sierra and my OnStar module has failed I took to the dealership they had it for five days and they said they'll have to order a new module in their out of stock it's going to take a couple months.  I noticed I can find some online to buy from anywhere from 85 $240 but I would have to check with the dealership if they would install a aftermarket, they been reluctant to install other aftermarket things I've got.

I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 and need to replace mine. It's going to be out of pocket for me. Are their any programming services out there so I don't have to pay the dealership?

Under IP right of steering column, above throttle pedal. Yes, needs programming.

Would an ecu coder work, like the Thinkscan 689BT? I appreciate this.

I don't know the capabilities of that unit but you need access to gm service programming info. I think one can subscribe to it for a short time but it's not cheap.
