fog light kit

I have a 2019 Sierra SLE (new style) and was thinking about adding fog lights. I have read the previous threads and saw the install directions from a previous post. Still have a few questions. I checked the BCM under the dash and it appears I have a wire there so I guess I won't have to use the jumper wire. Is it correct to say that I still have to access the UEC under the hood to attach a wire from the fog light harness ? I also will need to get the mounting bolts and nuts for the fog lights or will they come in the kit ?  Thanks in advance...

Yes, you still have to access the UEC to de-pin existing and insert pin from light harness. I never could get the existing pin out and ended up paying the dealer for 30 mins labor to do it. Plus another hour labor for BCM programming.

My kit did not come with the hardware to mount the lights. Purchased stainless steel nuts and bolts from big box store.

I did the kit on my 19 silverado, it's a little deeper into it with the wiring but worked out perfect.  The wire they have u run from the driver's side to the passenger side that goes thru the grommet in the firewall sucked but the rest wasnt too bad. I needed the dealer to activate them tho. Helps my buddy is a tech for years at a local dealer, he did it b4 so it helped me out a ton. The bolts that bolted the covers in were the same that i used to bolt the lights in. Not sure how much difference the GMC is tho. Plus it looks like it came that way is a plus..!!

If the labor isn't too bad let them do the install if u need to pay for the activation anyway.

I put these on my '19 Sierra SLE, also didn't need to run the jumper. The wiring takes a little time and the dealer still needs to flash the truck to enable them. I have 300 into it vs 500 the dealer wanted.

There is a side plastic lock tab that holds the wire in the block.  Release the one closest the pin your removing before depinning, so it can come out. Took me some time to figure it out. Also, the light assy's will go in from the front, so you don't have to disassemble from behind. The kit doesn't come w/hardware(GMC), nut clips(6) and bolts(6) can be had at NAPA.

Still need to adjust them vertically, forgot to look for the adjustment screw before installing. I have to figure out where it's at to adjust.
