ausomecasey Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 So I just got new 2020 LTZ, and I’m overly OCD about keeping it looking new, but I want to use it like a truck haha...can the tailgate cap and bed rail caps be replaced with factory replacements if they get too banged up? Thanks!
Likarok Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 You need to get into the habit of loading through the back and not over the side. Easy to say....hard to do. Putting a tonnue cover on also helps with the habit.

My dad gave me some aluminum ramps for Christmas, and when I was testing them out, I didn’t realize they had a sharp edge under the ramp lip. Most people wouldn’t see the small scratches on the plastic tailgate cap, but I do. I’ll sand the edges before I use ramps again. So I was just checking in the future, if I’m hauling longer lumber over the tailgate, will I need to put a blanket on the tailgate cap lol...but since they can be replaced, I’ll be a little less crazy.
