GM Performance exhaust Install question 6.2L

Bought a used GM performance exhaust off of someone that switched out to a Borla S, it's my first time installing an exhaust and everything is going all good except that the muffler has no directional indications, there are drain holes on one side of the muffler, can anyone tell me which way the muffler goes? Drain holes facing forward or towards rear? Forgive my ignorance.

I’ve never noticed drain holes before. It’s reasonable to believe the drain holes would go with the flow and be in the back.

On my GM performance exhaust the hole was on front. There was only one way the muffler would attach with all the pipes they sent. It would not go on where the hole is facing rear.
